The Mac Studio is an Apple Silicon desktop built around the M1 Max, M1 Ultra, M2 Max, M2 Ultra and later chips in a tall aluminium enclosure with an extensive rear port array and a dedicated cooling system. Parts are specific to the chip generation inside, so confirming the A-number and model identifier matters before ordering. The table below lists each Mac Studio we stock parts for with its A-number, EMC number, model identifier, year and processor.
Warning: These parts are model-specific. Confirm your exact A-number or EMC number against the correct row below before ordering. The wrong logic board, display, or battery will not fit.
| Model | A-number · Model ID · EMC | Parts |
|---|---|---|
| Mac Studio M4 2025 | A3299 · Mac16,9 · EMC 8549 | View 89 parts |
| Mac Studio M2 2023 | A2901 · Mac14,13 · EMC 8292 | View 82 parts |
| Mac Studio M1 2022 | A2215 · Mac13,1 · EMC 3988 | View 43 parts |
Read the model number beginning with A on the underside of the enclosure, or open System Information from the Apple menu and read the model identifier. The table above pairs each A-number with its chip so you can confirm whether you have an M1, M2 or later Mac Studio.
The Mac Studio has physical storage modules rather than fully soldered flash, but they are paired to the machine and are not a straightforward consumer swap; storage service requires matched Apple modules and a restore. We can confirm the exact configuration from the serial number before any storage work.
The enclosure and some mechanical parts carry over, but the logic board, cooling and storage modules are specific to the chip generation. Use the processor column in the table to match parts to your exact Mac Studio.
Still not sure which model you have? Send us the serial number and we will confirm the exact Apple part number before you order. Walk-ins are welcome with no appointment, and you can reach us on (813) 444-5595.
