The charger and cable supply the correct wattage the Mac expects for charging and full performance.
Before you order, match the model identifier on your Mac (Apple menu, About This Mac, System Report) to one of the identifiers listed for this part: MacBookPro10,1, MacBookPro11,2/11,3 and MacBookPro11,4/11,5.
Signs the charger needs replacing
- No charging or a charging light that flickers
- Slow charging or "Not Charging" in the battery menu
