About this part
The Cowling, Antenna (Apple part number 923-03427) is a genuine Apple part that fits the Mac Pro (Rack, 2019) and Mac Pro 2019. This cowling is the small metal cover that secures the Antenna connection. That connector links the logic board to the antennas in the display hinge or housing. Match the cowling and its mounting hardware to the listed device model.
Before you order, match the model identifier on your Mac (Apple menu, About This Mac, System Report) to the identifier listed for this part: MacPro7,1.
Signs the cowling needs replacing
- Wi-Fi shows weak bars even next to the router
- Bluetooth mice or headphones drop out or will not pair
- "No hardware installed" for Wi-Fi after the case was opened
- Signal that changes when the lid angle changes
