The SDXC Card Slot Board Connector Cowling / Ethernet Board Connector Cowling (Apple part number 923-07085) is a genuine Apple part that fits the Mac Studio M1 2022 and Mac Studio M2 2023. This cowling is the small metal cover that clamps the / Ethernet Board connector Cowling connector to the logic board. Its job is to keep that connector seated and shielded inside the case. If it is missing or bent, the connector can lift slightly and the connected component can become unreliable.
