About this part
The AC Inlet (Apple part number 923-08929) is a genuine Apple part that fits the Mac Studio M2 2023. The internal power supply converts wall power for the logic board and every component inside the Mac.
Before you order, match the model identifier on your Mac (Apple menu, About This Mac, System Report) to the identifier listed for this part: Mac14,13.
Signs the power supply needs replacing
- No power at all, even with a known good cable
- Shutdowns under load or when a drive spins up
- A buzzing or clicking sound from the power supply
- A burnt smell or visible damage near the power inlet
Not sure the power supply is the real cause? We diagnose the Mac before replacing anything, and we can install this genuine Apple part for you through our Mac Studio repair service, in our Tampa shop or by mail-in repair from anywhere in the US.
