The Keyboard Flex Cable Cowling (Apple part number 923-01486) is a genuine Apple part that fits the MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) and MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017). This cowling is the small metal cover that secures the Keyboard flex cable connection. That connector carries every keystroke, click and gesture from the top case to the logic board. Match the cowling and its mounting hardware to the listed device model.
