The Cowling, Lid Angle Sensor Connector, 5PK (Apple part number 923-13458) is a genuine Apple part that fits the MacBook Pro 14-inch 2025 M5, MacBook Pro 14-inch 2026 M5 Pro/Max and MacBook Pro 16-inch 2026 M5 Pro/Max. This cowling is the small metal cover that secures the Lid Angle Sensor connector, 5PK connection. Its job is to keep that connector seated and shielded inside the case.
