The Trackpad Connector Cowling Screw (5 Pieces) (Apple part number 923-06851) is a genuine Apple part that fits the MacBook Pro 14-inch 2021 M1 Pro/Max, MacBook Pro 14-inch 2023 M2 Pro/Max, MacBook Pro 14-inch 2023 M3/Pro/Max and 5 other models. This cowling is the small metal cover that clamps the Screw (5 Pieces) connector to the logic board. Its job is to keep that connector seated and shielded inside the case.
