The Cowling, Foot Board (Apple part number 923-10950) is a genuine Apple part that fits the Mac mini M4 2024 and Mac mini M4 Pro 2024. This cowling is the small metal cover that clamps the Foot Board connector to the logic board. Its job is to keep that connector seated and shielded inside the case. If it is missing or bent, the connector can lift slightly and the connected component can become unreliable.
