The Cowling Screw (5 Pieces) (Apple part number 923-08925) is a genuine Apple part that fits the MacBook Air 15-inch M2 2023 and MacBook Air 15-inch M3 2024. This cowling is the small metal cover that clamps the Screw (5 Pieces) connector to the logic board. Its job is to keep that connector seated and shielded inside the case. If it is missing or bent, the connector can lift slightly and the connected component can become unreliable.
