The Display (TCON) Flex Cable Cowling (Apple part number 923-01002) is a genuine Apple part that fits the MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Mid 2017), MacBook 12-inch Retina Early 2015 and MacBook 12-inch Retina Early 2016. This cowling is the small metal cover that secures the Display (TCON) flex cable connection. That connector carries the picture signal and backlight power from the logic board to the screen. Match the cowling and its mounting hardware to the listed device model.
