The Cowling, Display Connector (5 pieces) (Apple part number 923-10113) is a genuine Apple part that fits the MacBook Pro 14-inch 2024 M4/Pro/Max. This cowling is the small metal cover that clamps the Display connector (5 pieces) connector to the logic board. That connector carries the picture signal and backlight power from the logic board to the screen. If it is missing or bent, the connector can lift slightly and the display can become unreliable.
