Left Speaker Connector Cowling (5 Pcs)

About this part

The Left Speaker Connector Cowling (5 Pcs) (Apple part number 923-07015) is a genuine Apple part that fits the MacBook Pro 16-inch 2021 M1 Pro/Max, MacBook Pro 16-inch 2023 M2 Pro/Max, MacBook Pro 16-inch 2023 M3 Pro/Max and 1 other model. This cowling is the small metal cover that secures the Left Speaker connector (5 Pcs) connection. It holds the named connector in place; it is not the speaker, audio board or Touch ID sensor itself. Match the cowling and its mounting hardware to the listed device model.

Before you order, match the model identifier on your Mac (Apple menu, About This Mac, System Report) to one of the identifiers listed for this part: MacBookPro18,1/18,2, Mac14,6/14,10, Mac15,7/15,9/15,11 and Mac16,7/16,5.

Signs the cowling needs replacing

• The connector cover is missing after a previous repair
• The cowling is bent and no longer sits flat
• The covered connector is loose or not fully seated
• Damage is visible around its mounting points
